BIOLAN • Bedding Material 1 x 35 ℓ

BIOLAN litter material is ideally suited for all dry composting toilets. It is composed in such a way that an optimal aeration can take place. Accordingly, the solids dry quite quickly and the formation of odors is prevented.

BIOLAN consists of coniferous bark, moss and biochar. This composition is absolutely peat-free!
Here you will find a composition of ideal materials for the litter for composting toilets. Each of them brings its advantages:

• Coniferous bark (bark grist) provides an air-permeable structure of the mass
• moss and biochar regulate the moisture content of the compost mass, by absorbing moisture
• biochar supports microorganisms and binds odors

The moss contained here is living peat moss from the bog surface. The moss for our product is harvested gently and the bog is not drained in the process. On the contrary, this process allows the moss to grow back. Decisive for the optimal aeration and thus composting, is the coniferous bark contained here. Whereby the combination of the contained materials only represents an optimal litter.

The biochar is made from wood in pyrolysis.
